Ms. Montgomery, a Director, has over 20 years experience in strategic planning and business development Her experiences include senior positions in both large companies and startup operations in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. She also completed acquisitions and divestitures in the US and internationally.

Ms. Montgomery worked for Monsanto and G.D. Searle in strategic planning, marketing and business development. At Monsanto she completed investments in companies to complement the biotech research programs and developed and implemented marketing programs. Experiences at Searle included leading strategic planning for R&D, product portfolio management, technology and commercial assessment of product opportunities across multiple therapeutic areas, marketing, and new product planning. Laura has significant experience in defining and developing new markets.

An MBA from Harvard Business School, Ms. Montgomery also received an ME in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia.
